INTEGRATED DESIGN BUILDING INFORMATION MODELLING (BIM)
THE TRANSITION TO A MULTISCIDIPLINARY PROJECT GROUP
- Modelling in a three-dimensional environment of the elements constituting the information database.
- Exchange of models in native and IFC format, with the standardised, secure and effective information transfer through the sharing of interconnected three-dimensional models.
- Accurate checking of interference and design issues to reduce site problems.
- Multidisciplinary internal coordination and more accurate clash detection through automated flows and simulations through virtual reality.
- Extraction of documentation and project plans (views, plans, sections, details) directly from the three-dimensional model with the elimination of inconsistencies and typos across different documents.
- Supporting planning and design by extracting quantities and directly defining the structural elements within the modelling environment.
- Simplified management of local variants facilitated by our knowledge of parametric – algorithmic design.
